Kempower is a global company that builds leading charging solutions for electric vehicles. In the cloud software area, the company uses an AWS-based cloud-native stack, continuous delivery and Disciplined Agile based processes. Kempower won the AWS Finland Elevate Award 2024 for innovative and effective use of cloud services. Aleksi worked in our Cloud Software unit in a multifaceted agile coach - architect - software engineer role. He excelled in the agile coach role, coming up with outstanding processes for the team and really bringing aligment and clarity to the team's way of working. He also did solid work as a hands-on software engineer/architect. Aleksi's understanding of the EV industry and versatile background in tech roles enabled him to onboard very quickly. We wanted to seamlessly transfer our name servers and email to a new service provider, and after considering options, we decided to adopt Google Workspace with the help of Codefox. This also resolved the email issue for our online store, as customer service emails are now routed through Google Groups, reaching multiple people instead of just one. The planning and implementation of the migration went smoothly and professionally, with no disruptions to our emails or online store. After the transfer, we received practical training on using the new systems, explained in a user-friendly manner.

Codefox can also serve as a part-time technology lead in the early stages of growth until the need for a full-time CTO becomes essential as an in-house resource.

Aleksi has been serving as our CTO since the end of 2019. Since then, he has had overall responsibility for developing and leading the technical side of our company. Aleksi possesses extensive expertise in technical planning, implementation, and maintenance, as well as in leading and supervising technical teams. However, he doesn't solely focus on the technical aspects but also takes into consideration the company's business situation and aligns the technical development efforts with the existing resources. The best part of working with Aleksi for a CEO from a more commercial background is that he can explain technical matters and plans in a way that is understandable to both technical and non-technical individuals, internally and when necessary, to clients as well.

Codefox helped us outline the technical requirements of Traitspotter and determine the scale of production for the first version, as well as the required areas of expertise and technologies. Following this, we were able to engage in more concrete discussions with investors and create a detailed roadmap for program development. Codefox also implemented a Proof of Concept version of the program, which allowed us to validate the customer need and the functionality of the program. Our collaboration with Codefox was flexible and professional.
