One-time project implementation offered in our service portfolio is called Checkup. In practice, it involves a thorough assessment of your company's current state, goals, and resources. Once we have gathered this information, we can help elevate your operations to the next level and beyond.

Beginnings

During Checkup, we delve into the technologies currently in use and analyze your company's existing processes. Additionally, we familiarize ourselves with your future goals and objectives, taking into account various prioritization aspects. This comprehensive approach allows us to gain a solid understanding of your current operational state. With this understanding as our foundation, we construct a launchpad for you to embark on your journey towards greater success.

Tools

Digitalization plan, migration guidelines, proof of concept plan, resource allocation recommendations, and intros. These are all familiar terms, but perhaps somewhat unfamiliar on a practical level. However, they can be found on our list of things we implement in our one-time projects, just like process changes required for transitioning towards a more digital, automated, and streamlined direction.

Time allocation

The typical duration for carrying out a Checkup is one (1) month, but depending on your specific needs, time can be allocated either more intensively in workshops or at suitable intervals for longer-term monitoring.

Smooth Operations with Professional Support: Maintenance and Support Services

Maintenance is a continuous monthly subscription service package that is crucial for the smooth operation of your company. It ensures that both the day-to-day tasks and smaller assignments are taken care of. This prevents the accumulation of technical and administrative debt, saving time for your core business activities.

Basic contents

In this package, the amount of time Codefox dedicates to weekly activities is equivalent to what a full-time CTO would spend on similar tasks. These daily tasks include prioritizing new product development ideas, code reviews, prioritizing customer requests and timeboxing, as well as requirement specifications for new tasks, ideas, and potential bugs. These are crucial tasks that need to be handled diligently and consistently, and that's something we excel at.

Customizable content

However, those tasks are only a small part of the Maintenance package's content. Under continuous maintenance, we include a roadmap, software versions, software library versions, all required updates, market changes, and new products, both assisting and competing. Feeling overwhelmed? Well, we certainly aren't, and that's why we also handle background processes on your behalf, such as maintaining data architecture, customer support, task management, scheduling, and more. We can also accommodate small Ad-Hoc consultations as needed.

Time allocation

Maintenance is typically based on a 6-month contract. However, we can adjust it on a case-by-case basis to best serve the needs of the client company. The recommended duration of the contract (minimum) is based on our experience, which suggests that maximum benefits are derived from more long-term work.

Customized Support and Efficient Project Work: Boosting Your Performance with Active Service

Active is an add-on to the Maintenance service, specifically designed for project work. It includes eight (8) hours of working time, which can be allocated according to the contract agreement. It can be utilized for various purposes, such as a full-day workshop or project management with 2 hours per week, depending on the specific needs of the client company.

Usage examples

Creating a technical roadmap based on commercial objectives is an excellent way to leverage the Active add-on package. It allows for aligning technology initiatives with business goals and ensuring that the technical direction supports the overall strategy. Additionally, the Active package can be utilized for intensive onboarding activities to kickstart new client engagements effectively. This ensures a smooth transition and sets the foundation for a successful partnership.

Active as a part of a whole

An equally fitting proposal in the context would be the Checkup package to explore and plan new ideas, followed by the Maintenance package and the necessary amount of Active add-ons for the actual implementation. All of this seamlessly and conveniently provided by us under one roof.

 

Ad-Hoc

Fast and Flexible Support for Your Needs: Ad-Hoc Consulting for Critical Moments

Ad-Hoc is our offering of hourly consulting work. It can encompass any type of consultation within our expertise. It is essentially a "lifeline" available for our clients, to be used only in exceptional circumstances. This is because generally the Maintenance or Active packages are more cost-effective solutions to be utilized. However, if you do require immediate assistance, such as for maintenance tasks or urgent issues outside of regular working hours, we are naturally ready to help.

Not just for business hours

Ad-Hoc hours are not limited to regular working hours. It means that maintenance tasks or other tasks falling outside of regular working hours can be agreed upon and performed as Ad-Hoc hours, based on the pricing specified for that particular time period.

(Almost) Always reachable

Codefox is not only there to help during sunny weather but also when a storm hits. We are likely to be reachable and ready to assist. However, we cannot guarantee 24/7 availability or constant on-call support.

 

API Checkup

API Checkup is a project-based service, which consists of you product's API plan or implementation, depending on the lifecycle stage of your product. The checkup takes a close look from the points of view of security, performance, and developer friendliness.

Nowadays APIs are almost essential for every software in order to create automations between applications. Open APIs have become more common, and the usability and quality plays a key factor when selecting an application for your company's use.

Current state, recommendations and follow-up actions

API Checkup includes the analysis of the current plan or implementation according to Codefox's comprehensive checklist, recommendations on how to resolve potentially discovered issues, and a list of follow-up actions recommended, to be done either by Codefox or any other party. If the API is still in the planning phase, a preliminary suggestion of the structure and functionalities of the API can be included if any time is left over in the budget.
